
Where do we start?
- Let us know you are interested in Left Coast Catering by completing the request form including your event date, location and guest count.
- We will contact you and discuss topics such as your taste preferences, nature of event and budget.
- Once we have gathered your information we will create an initial proposal until we get it right.
- We will schedule a site inspection to determine your exact needs
- Once the proposal meets your approval we request a 50% deposit to secure our services.
- Following your event your final balance will be billed.
- You and your guest walk away from the best party you’ve ever had!
What does it cost?
- Full service events start at $1500.00 that includes food, labor, basic rentals, production and gratuity.
- We also offer drop off services for informal events starting at $500.00 plus a delivery fee based on location.
- Left Coast Catering's pricing begins at:
- Weddings $125.00 per guest
- Cocktail party $75.00 per guest
- Sit down dinners $100.00 per guest
What are the costs involved?
- Rentals such as tables, chairs, linen, china, glassware. Onsite labor, bar set-up, 18% production fee and tax.
Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?
- Flowers, decor, alcohol are an additional charge. We do not, however, charge for services such as corkage or a cake cutting.
Do you have a minimum number of staff required for an event?
- We require a minimum of two staff people for a full service event and have a 5-hour minimum for each person.
What is the production charge?
- The 18% is based in the food and labor total and it covers the administrative time, tasting, site visit and gratuity for our staff.
Why is there tax on everything?
- California Board of Equalization requires sales tax on all services.
Do we use organic, local and sustainable products?
- Choosing local products are the number one priority. We are conscious and responsible in our buying practices. We will always choose a local non-organic product over an organic product from far away. In our buying practices we work with vendors that are sustainable and progressive. You will only find sustainable fish, free-range meats and the highest quality produce in our kitchen.
How long have we been around?
- Left Coast Catering got its start working in the Silicon Valley in 1994 catering private dinners for some of the top executives. Since then we have grown into a full service catering company that has accommodated events ranging in size from 4-1500.
How does billing work?
- We require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit to secure the date for weddings, b'nai mitzvahs and holiday events. A 50% deposit is due 6 weeks prior to your event. Final balance is due the day of the event.
- We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash.
Are we fully insured?
- We carry 2 million dollars of liability insurance and workman's compensation.
